Diagnosis of your issue will normally be completed within 1 working day and if no parts need to be ordered in then we should be able to complete it within 24 hours. If parts are required we try to fit them the same day they arrive.
Generally speaking, if parts aren't in stock they take 2-3 working days to arrive. We will keep you updated of any delays.

It is best to check as there is not always someone on site at present. If no one is there we can normally arrange to be there within 10-15 minutes during business hours. Please be aware that the business is currently run from a residential address and entry in to the premises is not permitted. There is an entrance hall where equipment can be exchanged should conducting this outside not be suitable, due to weather for example.
Home or office visits are available within St Albans but please be aware that repairs carried out on site will often work out more expensive than repairs conducted at our workshop.
Most credit and debit cards as well as Apple/Google Pay, Cash and Faster Payment Bank Transfers. Cheques are not accepted. Due to the processing time of card transactions, ordering of parts can be delayed until the payment clears. We prefer Faster Payment Bank Transfers in this instance, or of course cash.
Payment is normally due upon collection when the only charges are labour or the parts in stock. If specialist data recovery is required or the required parts that need to be ordered are over £10, a deposit or full payment will be required. Should a repair fail a refund, of course, will be issued unless we specifically advice otherwise.

Yes. Normally for 3 months. If a part we supply is guaranteed for longer by the manufacturer then we are happy to coordinate with the manufacturer to arrange the replacement or repair of the part but may charge a smaller fee than originally for removing the old part and fitting the new one. Water or other physical damage as well as misuse will negate most warranties. On occassion Ver IT will offer to complete a repair with no warranty offered. This will only be done with prior agreement with the customer.
Where second hand or refurbished parts are used for a repair the warranty only applies for as long as any return period that we, Ver I.T. are offered when purchasing the part. In most cases this is at least 14 days.

We are partnered with one of the top UK Data Recovery Laboratories. It costs £10 to ship to the lab for a free estimate. Estimates takes around a week to receive.
Yes we do, normally at a preferable hourly rate as a lot of small businesses do not have the budget or requirement for subscription based support. We can also quote for continued support for business paid for on a monthly basis.
The answer is yes we can! Delivery to us is your responsibility and should be agreed in advance. Items must be well packaged and surrounded in a cardboard box. Return postage, regardless of the outcome of the repair is £10 and wherever possible we will use the same packaging that the device was supplied in. Return postage is normally made by UPS, DHL or similiar, 24-48 hour service. We do not use EVRI/Hermes. This delivery service normally covers items up to £50 in value. Our responsibility ends upon safe delivery to the courier. Should you require a higher insurance value for return of your item this can be arranged but will come at extra cost.
We can diagnose your equipment and provide a written quote which can be sent to your insurance company. The charge for this is £40. If the repair is then completed by us that £40 paid can be deducted from the repair costs. As with all quotes we issue, insurance quotes are only valid for a fixed amount of time.
